Keko London raises over £1,300 for Shelter in Rat Race 2016

This weekend, thanks to the generosity of our friends, colleagues and family we were able to raise over £1,300 for Shelter, a charity that aims to help homeless families in the UK, by taking part in the London Rat Race.

An elite team of carb loaded Keko London athletes lined up at the start of what is essentially a 10K race based around the London Docks with over 30 obstacles along the way including climbing, crawling, swimming, kayaking and jumping into the Thames from a height of 7 meters (gulp)! We would say this definitely fits in with Keko’s philosophy to always ‘Keep Verging’ don’t you think?

Although challenging at times, it was very fun and we all made it across the finish line as a team in one piece (amid a few minor bruises and cuts…) with everyone sticking together and supporting each other along the way.

Here at Keko London we always like to push our limits, so if you have any ideas of what challenge we should take-on next, drop us a line! Contact info here. #KekoKares
